Top 10 Solar Energy States per Capita(US)



This article discusses how the use of solar energy is on the rise for a few states in the US namely-Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Delaware, California, Arizona and North Carolina. The use of Solar energy in these states have helped them to cut costs. Solar photovoltaics produce 96% less global warming pollution than coal fired plants and hence reduces the harmful effects on the environment. Solar PV reduces the need for long distance transmission lines. Statistics also show 87% usage of Solar energy by only 26% of the population. Though the interests on Solar Power suffered many attacks from the fossil fuel interests, people continued to show their commitment towards Solar energy considering it’s negligible effect on the environment.

  1. Clean Solar Energy is definitely the future and I guess more solar plants should be established to achieve a eco-friendly standards.
